They say that if you have more than three of anyone thing, it's a collection. That means a I have a collection of dust bunnies. But today I discovered that I have a collection of frogs - and that doesn't count the family of Pacific tree frogs that live on my porch. I have a wonderful book called Once Upon a Lily Pad which is about a romantic pair of frogs who live in the garden of Monet, the artist. I have a bronze frog, given to me to connote the untimely death of another tree frog on the hall rug, and I have a pair of antiqued bronze frogs, given me for Christmas by my son, to connote the article I wrote for the News Tribune about that family of frogs on the porch. Yup, that's a collection, all right.
